Probably the most important extension of St. Meows is our foster program.

 To foster for St. Meows, you must complete an adoption application and sign a foster agreement.  Our foster homes range from MIT students to college professors.

  

The type of cats we place in foster care are as follows:

- cats actively up for adoption

- shy cats that would benefit from one on one attention with a foster parent

- an elderly or special needs cat such as a cat recovering from surgery

- a mother kitten and litter of newborn kittens

- a stable cat with a terminal illness such as cancer
